Dobermann Club of Queensland Inc.

DOBE DAYS

People who purchase a Dobermann mainly do so because of companionship. Others will also want their dog for different reasons: to compete in the show ring, obedience, agility, tracking or for protection. The DCQ acknowledges these differences and seeks to develop a club that will cater for all of those owners' needs.
Dobe Days are an ideal opportunity for the DCQ to promote the breed in a positive manner and to encourage responsible dog ownership. Dobermann owners are encouraged to attend these days, with their Dobie and to participate in a day of fun and enjoyment with their favourite breed. At Dobe Days people can take part in fun events with their dogs, watch agility and obedience displays, ask those 'Dobie' questions and generally have a great time. Prospective breed purchasers are also encouraged to attend Dobe Days as it gives them a chance to discuss the pros and cons of owning a Dobermann with club members before taking the step of acquiring a Dobermann. Dobe Days are fun and educational days for all dobermanns and their people. They usually involve demonstrations and activities, a sausage sizzle and presentations.
